This Committee is administered by Surrey County Council (SCC) and is
responsible for the oversight of the completion of the restoration of the
Basingstoke Canal; the management and maintenance of the Canal as an
environmental, navigational and recreational asset; and balancing the interests
of all users of the Canal. Attended by representatives of local authorities and
special interest groups
