Licensing Sub-Committee (Alcohol and Entertainments)

Purpose of committee

Main responsibilities:

 

To consider and determine licence applications made under the Licensing Act 2003, and applications for licences and permits made under the Gambling Act 2005 in accordance with the Council’s scheme of delegation. 

 

The Sub-Committee will take the form of a licensing hearing, and will be made up of three members of the Corporate Governance, Audit and Standards Committee who have received special training to enable them to consider licencing matter.
