Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday, 5th November, 2026 7.00 pm - Agenda

(1)  To note the Appointment of Cllr Mara Makunura as a Member of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee in place of Cllr Ade Adeola for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year. The appointment has been made by the Leader of the Conservative Group, in accordance with Standing Orders and arrangements to secure political balance.

(2)  To note the appointment of Cllr Ade Adeola as a Standing Deputy of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee in place of Cllr Mara Makunura for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year. The appointment has been made by the Leader of the Conservative Group, in accordance with Standing Orders and arrangements to secure political balance.

To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting held on 17th September, 2026 (copy attached).

To receive an update, from the Economy and Growth Service Manager, Lee McQuade and Town Centres Manager, Diane Highet, on the town centres and local business support.

The Portfolio Holder for Economy, Skills and Regeneration, Cllr Julie Hall has also been invited to the meeting to answer Members questions.
