DETERMINATION OF A TEMPORARY EVENT NOTICE IN RESPECT OF THE EMPIRE BANQUETING AND HALL, HIGH STREET, ALDERSHOT pdf icon PDF 4 MB

To consider the Head of Operational Services’ Report No. OS2117 (copy attached) setting out details of a temporary event notice (TEN) that has been served on the licensing authority and has attracted an objection from the Police.

Decision:

To give a counter notice (effectively stopping the proposed event) and reasons for its decision.

 

The Sub-Committee considered on the balance of probabilities that it was appropriate for the promotion of the licensing objectives, namely the prevention of crime and disorder and public safety, to issue a counter notice.
