Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered the Head
of Environmental Health and Housing’s Exempt Report No. EHH_LICSUB1628, which
set out the outcome of an investigation by the Licensing Authority into
complaints concerning a licensed private hire driver. The driver confirmed that
he had received all relevant paperwork. Firstly, the Licensing Officer outlined the findings of the
investigation and four witnesses were called to
substantiate pieces of evidence. The driver then made his presentation. The
Licensing Officer, witnesses and driver were all subjected
to questions from the Sub-Committee. The Sub-Committee withdrew to consider what action should
be taken in this case and the outcome of this was set out in the
decision notice annexed to these minutes. |
