Farnborough Airport Applications

Minutes:

Tim Mills, Executive Head of Property and Growth, gave a verbal update regarding the Farnborough Airport applications, which were listed as Future Items.

For Planning Application No. 25/00615/REV, Farnborough Airport notified the Council that they were planning, at the end of the agreed extension of time period, to appeal on the grounds of non-determination. Therefore, the application had been updated to note the appeal.

Regarding Planning Application No. 23/00794/REVPP, which sought to increase the maximum number of annual aircraft movements from 50,000 to 70,000 per annum, including an increase in non-weekday aircraft movements from 8,900 to 18,900 per annum, the Council agreed a further extension of six months. The decision was made on the basis that some of the matters that would be determined within Planning Application No. 25/00615/REV were relevant to Planning Application No. 23/00794/REVPP.
