Cr. P.J. Moyle will move and Cr. J.H. Marsh will second:

“That, in recognition of the bravery and courage of the Regiment, its notable and distinguished achievements and in appreciation of its contribution to the life of the Borough and its strong connections with the local community, the Council of the Borough of Rushmoor, in pursuance of Section 249(5) of the Local Government Act 1972, hereby confers upon the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment the Honorary Freedom of the Borough of Rushmoor together with the right, honour and distinction of exercising all customary privileges when parading in or marching through the streets of the Borough on ceremonial occasions.”
