2. DETERMINATION OF APPLICATION FOR A JOINT HACKNEY CARRIAGE AND PRIVATE HIRE DRIVERS LICENCE
To consider the Executive Head of Operational Services’ Exempt Report No. OS2406 (copy attached) in respect of an application for a joint hackney carriage and private hire drivers licence.
Decision:
The Sub-Committee was satisfied that the Applicant is a fit and proper
person so as to be able to progress his application or a joint hackney carriage
and private hire driver’s licence. He will, of course, be required to
re-undertake the test that was stopped on 2nd August, 2023. Whether the Council
ultimately grants a licence will depend upon the satisfactory completion by the
Applicant of all outstanding requirements of him.
